  9. Khoya as required
  10. Almonds, Raisins as required

Steps to make to make Zarda

  1. Wash and soak sella rice for least 2 hours.boil with yellow food colour till 99%done (aik kani ky chawal).soak saffron in little water or milk.
  2. Make sugar syrup with sugar,green cardamom and 1 cup water till sugar is dissolve completely in water.
  3. Heat ghee in pot.add green cardamoms,let them crackle. Add boiled rice in ghee. Then add sugar syrup as well.cook at medium to high flame till water dries up.
  4. Add kewra water,red green murabba khoya at top and keep at dum at medium flame. After 5 min lowers the flame.
